HorzeHood Dual Turnout Hood

This product comes with a waterproof fabric swatch repair kit.

After testing a full waterproof hood there were a few elements HorzeHoods were not completely satisfied with, therefore came up with a true half/half design.

As their standard Best Seller Stretch hoods are so well loved, they didn't want to take the full design away hence used a fully waterproof head and kept the original Horzehood fabric on the neck. This means during winter months the lightweight fabric where a full neck Turnout rug would sit is there, and where the horse's head and top half would be open to the elements is kept dry and clean without over heating the horse.

Not over heating your horse is essential for preventing mane loss, due to the hair follicles weakening during higher temperatures. Therefore keeping 'lightweight' fabrics as the base of the hood means we have a 'best of both worlds' design.

The 'Dual Horzehood' has been tested in the UK with superb reviewing before bringing it to the market in Australia.

The design consists of all the loved features of their Best Seller Horzehoods with the stretch fabric for added shine, sensitive areas and helping prevent mane loss during winter months.

NOTE: Animal welfare is extremely important to us, we recommend with any products used in paddocks that regular checks are made throughout the turnout duration, along with secure fencing and avoidance of sharp external objects such as barbwire, to keep your products as protected as possible from tears.
